According to the South African Broadcasting Co-operation (SABC), Limpopo Sports, Arts and Culture MEC Thandi Moraka has gone into self-isolation after coming into contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19. It is reported that Moraka and the provincial MEC for Basic Education, Pollie Boshielo were in contact with Netball South Africa President Cecilia Molokwane who later tested positive for the virus.
According to SABC news, MEC Moraka is in self-isolation after taking a test for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Moraka’s Spokesperson, Lucky Tshilimandila says the MEC is awaiting her results. “It is feared that there may be a large number of people that may need to be tested as Molokwane attended some events in the province this past weekend,” he said.
