Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety Dickson Masemola has extended his condolences to the families and friends of six victims of a car crash that took place on Sunday, 12 January 2020 on the N1 next to Walmansthal, Gauteng.
All deceased persons are reported to be from the same family in Malonga village, Collins Chabane Municipality, Vhembe District.
Limpopo Transport and Community Safety department spokesperson, Joel Seabi conveyed the MEC’s condolences to the families of four youths who perished on the R579 road in a hit-and-run incident that left three other young people in a critical condition.
“The accident happened in Diphagane area in Makhuduthamaga Municipality, Sekhukhune District, on Wednesday, 8 January 2020,” said Seabi.
He said that the MEC received the sad news with a heavy heart as it is a grave loss to the province as much as to the families and loved ones of the victims.
“The MEC will to visit the families, and where, possible join their memorial and funeral services”, concluded Seabi.
