Malamulele residents showed solidarity and complied with the measures put in place to curb the spread of the COVID-19.
On Friday, 27 March 2020, residents stayed at home following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s decision to lockdown the country for the next 21 days in a bid to curb the spread of Corona virus.
South Africa has over 1000 confirmed cases of Corona virus with two reported fatalities.
Despite no real visibility of police or South African National Defence Force (SANDF) in the area on Friday morning, the residents of Malamulele heeded the clarion call to stay at home.
