The Limpopo Provincial Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has, on Wednesday, commended the Police for arresting two suspects involved in the break-in and car theft that occurred in Hoedspruit on Monday, 13 January 2020.
It is alleged that the two suspects broke into the camp and stole a few items including a Toyota Land Cruiser and drove off.
Police Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said that the police were notified and immediately launched an investigation which nabbed the two suspects. It is reported that one of them is a former employee of the bush camp.
“They were spotted driving the stolen car on Tuesday, 14 January 2020 at about 22h00 and were then apprehended,” said Mojapelo
He further said that the stolen items were recovered at the house of one of the suspects at Bismarck village, Sekororo, which include bedding, electric appliances and a bicycle.
“The suspects will soon appear before the Hoedspruit Magistrate’s Court. The Police investigations are still underway,” concluded Mojapelo.
