#FillupGiyaniStadium murder case witness died

Tinyiko Abednigo Ngobeni one of the witnesses on the #FillupGiyaniStadium murder case has died following short illness.

Tinyiko who’s the late brother of the #FillupGiyaniStadium murder victim, Victor Hoxani Ngobeni has been one of the witnesses after his younger brother was stabbed to death allegedly by Nikiwe Masonto of Siyadhani village in the outskirts of Giyani.

Victor Ngobeni has been killed during the popular #FillupGiyaniStadium in September 2018.

On Wednesday, the Giyani magistrate court officially handed over Masonto’s murder case to the Thohoyndou high court after his case had been heard numerous times at the Giyani Magistrate Court since his arrest.

Victor’s sister, Wendy Ngoveni told Giyani View that Tinyiko had been laid to rest on the 8th of June few days before he could take a stand in the Giyani magistrate court.

“He was supposed to testify against Masonto on the 14th of June. Unfortunately, he couldn’t since he’s no more and had been laid to rest.

“The case was postponed to the 14th of June pending the final decision on the matter of handing over the case to the regional court or to the high court.

“We are positive that the high court will definitely deliver the sentence after the brutal murder of our brother, Victor.” Scoff  Wendy.

Xilumani Holdings Brand Ambassador, Tinyiko Maluleke wasn’t immediately reached for a comment on whether they will able to continue transporting Mavalani village concerned protesters.

Masonto whoever was remanded in custody.
